4 of 5 provoking and maybe profitable questions

4. Who are the talented 10th and why are they not in control, driving Nigeria?

Who are the TALENTED TENTH?
The talented tenth exist in all societies across the globe, these are the elite
by merit, the erudite, the learned, the societal role models and celebrities
at high tables across the nation. The talented tenth hold the keys to
institutionalising anti-corruption, to decoupling tribalism when having a
national discussion about restructuring. At the moment and based on the
primordial setup of Nigeria without the deep thinking of the talented tenth,
restructuring will mean simple redistribution of wealth so the oil rich states
keep their oil wealth and the northern states manage with their agricultural
produce especially groundnut, tomatoes and beef. Without the deep
thinking of the talented tenth, there will be failure to recognise that crude
oil and products accounts only for 14% of GDP but 80% of foreign
exchange. Without deep thinking, there will be failure to recognise that the
western crude oil importing economies are weaning their dependence on
fossil fuels, that in only 10 years from now there will be less demand for
Nigerian sweet crude.
